I have a love/hate relationship with Shia. I love to watch him act, I think he is often brilliant and has a raw depth to his talent. I also think he's beautiful in an unconventional way. However, I hate how he behaves when he's off-screen, and his general hypocrisy towards fame and the power that comes with it.
All that said, this is a brilliant piece of art, set to amazing music by the Icelandic band Sigor Ros. The video depicts -- in arty dream-like metaphoric overtures -- a couple's cycle of passion and addiction. Oh, and Shia also happens to be naked in the video along side his co-star Denna Thomsen. Frankly, all the hoopla over his nakedness is being blown out of proportion (no pun intended). It's a gorgeous piece of work directed by Alma Har'el (Bombay Beach) to Sigor Ros' song "Fjogur Piano," off their recent album Valtari.
