Corgis Lobby California Governor Jerry Brown on Shark Fin Ban

A ban on shark fins is awaiting Governor Brown's signature, and the nature-loving Corgi lobbyists showed up in costume to support the ban.

Sutter, the Governor's adviser on the natural world, poses on the steps of the California State Capitol.

Emboldened by the presence of a Pembroke Welsh Corgi in the California Governor's office, a pack of concerned Corgis made their way to the State Capitol. 

Governor Jerry Brown and First Lady Anne Gust Brown recently adopted Sutter, a Corgi that had belonged to his sister Kathleen. 

A ban on shark fins is awaiting Governor Brown's signature, and the nature-loving Corgi lobbyists showed up in costume to support the ban. One even gave an interview.
 

Buckingham Palace has nothing on the California State Capitol when it comes to Corgis.

Note: The Governor will announce his decision on October 9. There's time to let him and Sutter know your views.
