Duchess Kate appears in red for the first time since the Canadian tour.
The Duchess of Cambridge went all out with a new, red lace dress and matching hat. Kate was careful to wear a re-run outfit to the July wedding of William's cousin Zara, so she would not be fashion news on Zara's big day. There are only so many times you can wear re-runs though, and Kate was apparently ready to attract some attention.
She must have looked lovely in person. Sky News reported that she spent four hours in a London beauty salon. Some things you just can’t get in Anglesey.
Prince William was an usher in the wedding party for their friends Thomas Sutton and Harriet Colthurst, who married in Wiltshire on Saturday. The red lace dress, likely an Erdem, is similar to the one below, paired with the sleek Prada pumps, Kate was every bit the elegant Duchess we've come to love.
