Cast Your Oscar Ballot at MoviePass - Grand Prize is One Year of Free Movies

By , Contributor
If you haven’t yet heard of MoviePass, think Netflix but for movie theaters. For a flat fee of $30 a month, MoviePass subscribers can see one movie per day at the cinema (over 3,700 theaters are eligible; that’s over 33,000 screens nationwide!). There are no blackout dates, either. See the movies you want to see, when you want to see them—including on opening day. Note: an iPhone or Android phone is required in order to use MoviePass. After subscribing, you receive your MoviePass card, then select your movie using the MoviePass app, and lastly pick up your movie ticket at your chosen box office.

Personally, I can’t WAIT to try this service out and will be providing updated information shortly detailing the process. For anyone who sees a lot of movies at the theater each month, this seems like an unbeatable deal.

It just so happens that now is a fantastic time to stop by the MoviePass official site. Until 3pm EST on February 28, visitors can fill out their Oscar ballot for a chance to win a full year of MoviePass. The runner-up will win a six-month MoviePass subscription. One entry per person only. Visit the site here in order to cast your ballot and have a shot at one of the prizes. There’s plenty of information too, for those more curious about how MoviePass works.
