Destiny Gets a Newsweek Collector's Edition and Live-Action Trailer

The upcoming first-person shooter video game Destiny has joined the illustrious company of Michael Jordan, Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe, and the son of God as the subject of an Official Collector’s Edition of Newsweek magazine.

In a first for the respected current affairs publication, this special issue features comprehensive coverage of the highly anticipated sci-fi title. Destiny is a co-production of Activision and Bungie, the companies behind the hit Skylanders and Halo franchises.

The Destiny Official Collector's Edition of Newsweek includes a profile of the game, an in-depth look at its creators and characters and a strategy guide. The issue is on newsstands now.

Destiny will be released on 9 September 2014 for PlayStation and Xbox video game consoles. The latest trailer for the game, titled "Become Legend," can be viewed below.
