A more compact running time, and budget-friendly SRP, is found on the single-disc The Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts: Hall of Famers DVD. The theme here, as you may have guessed by the title, is baseball greats. Hall of Famers contains two complete roasts. The targets: the legendary Hank Aaron, the pre-steroids era all-time home run king (which means, at least for many baseball fans, that he remains the king) and former MLB catcher Joe Garagiola (who was honored by the Baseball Hall of Fame for his broadcasting achievements). Included in the roaster’s panel are Yogi Berra, Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, and Stan Musial.
Also included on Hall of Famers are nearly an hour’s worth of bonus features. There are bonus comedy sketches as well as exclusive interviews with Shirley Jones, Norm Crosby, and Dan Haggerty. The nearly three-hour DVD is definitely priced all every budget, with a SRP of $12.95.
