Watch and Choose: Which Is Your Favorite Royal Garden Party?

Hats, cucumber sandwiches, and polite conversation. As Bertie Wooster would say, "The binge is on!"

Queen Elizabeth II talks with a family at one of her Buckingham Palace garden parties.

I was delighted to hear that Queen Elizabeth invites 10,000 people “from all walks of life” to her four garden parties. Can this mean there’s a chance for each of us?

Watch the videos of the garden parties in London and Edinburgh, Scotland and choose which one you’d like to attend.

Perhaps you prefer the sedate grandeur of the Buckingham Palace grounds?

As for me, I die for the do at Holyrood House in Edinburgh: the bagpipes, the men in kilts, and my favorite — the Royal Company of Archers, with their tall bows.

Get some regal action going on your home turf and invite your friends to tread your own velvet lawn. You can even serve Buckingham Palace Garden Party Tea. Loose leaf, of course.
