You may find this rather incredible in such a poptastic world, but Billboard has revealed that the biggest earning live musical act in 2010 was classic rock behemoth Bon Jovi. The band played 69 sold out shows around the world to 1.6 million fans, and took home a whopping $147 million, relegating U2 to second place (with a not insignificant $131.5 million in ticket sales).
Imagine what they'll make now that have their lead guitarist back! Richie Sambora hopped a plane to Europe yesterday where he'll rejoin the Bon Jovi tour in Croatia after leaving an undisclosed rehab facility where he's been since leaving the tour at the end of April for treatment for alcohol addiction. It's the second stint in rehab for the guitarist, who checked himself in following his split from actress Heather Locklear in 2007, and the death of his father.
