WB Games has revealed more gameplay from its upcoming video game collaboration with the makers of the world’s most famous construction toy.
LEGO Dimensions will allow players to bring LEGO characters to life in a gaming story that spans several of the brands licensed to the toy maker. These include major DC Comics characters, Lord of the Rings, Doctor Who, Ghostbusters and Scooby Doo.

The Scooby Doo footage that WB Games revealed this week features the iconic characters of Scooby-Doo and Shaggy. It shows how Warner Brothers’ gaming division has blended the animation style of the Scooby-Doo cartoon with the brick-based appearance of the LEGO Multiverse and its characters.
According to the press announcement, the LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack will include a complete, mission-based Scooby-Doo level that Batman, Wyldstyle and Gandalf must get through in order to stop the evil Lord Vortech.

LEGO Dimensions is scheduled for release on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and the Wii U on September 27.
