Love Adele? You have a better chance of getting a date.
According to online dating site Tastebuds, which matches up users based on the music that they listen to, promising a love connection via shared musical preferences: Tell us the bands you love and we'll find people nearby who share your tastes You meet new people who share your passion for music.
A recent blog gave advice on "How to Get Laid at Glastonbury," explaining which acts to watch that would yield the most potential for hook-ups. But back at home their research shows that those users who listen to the “Somone Like You” singer seem to be having more traction on their profiles.
“We recently ran some numbers on our user data, in an attempt to discover whose fans score highest on our Lucky In Love Index," read a recent blog post, something they calculated by working out which fans have the most replies to their messages, receive the most inbound messages, and have their profile viewed most often. "It turns out that Adele fans come out on top.”
According to their numbers, Adele fans are 20% more likely to receive an incoming message on Tastebuds than the average user - they have a 57% chance of receiving a message from someone else. Second? Kings of Leon fans, which probably has everything to do with their 2008 hit “Sex On Fire,” followed by the Artic Monkeys, and the Strokes. Last place? Metallica.
