Robin Dunne [right] to Amanda Tapping: "I swear I put my smartphone down in here somewhere."
As the name indicates, Sanctuary Twitter Tag has been adapted specially for the ubiquitous social networking site. Its rules are simple: a question about Season 3 is sent to a follower with the hashtag #SanctuaryTwitterTag and the recipient must respond and send a question on to someone else.
The tweet trail was kicked off this morning by Sanctuary star and executive producer Amanda Tapping (@amandatapping). She tweeted co-star Robin Dunne (@robindunne) with the question "who played your Sergeant in [the episode] Normandy."
In a well-timed follow-up that coincides with the release of Star Wars on Blu-ray, Dunne then asked actor Ryan Robbins (@RyRobbins) who the cast would be if they were characters from that franchise. At the time of writing, Master Jedi Robbins, a.k.a. Henry Foss in Sanctuary, was M.I.A. He was rumored to be in his third hour at the drive-thru of a Tim Horton's coffee shop.
Speaking of Sanctuary, The Morton Report has an exclusive interview with its creator, Damian Kindler (Darthmian Kindler, perhaps), coming up once we can tear him away from Twitter Tag. Moreover, the payment received for this article is being donated to Sanctuary for Kids, the show's foundation, which is working in support of children in Somalia, Haiti, Pakistan, Nepal and other parts of the world. Sanctuary airs on Syfy in the US and SPACE in Canada. Season four premieres October 7.
