Rock Me Amadeus, Says Jack White and Insane Clown Posse

By , Contributor
Jack White is Detroit’s second patron saint, right after Kid Rock. He has taken it upon himself to single-handedly resurrect the Motor City’s Insane Clown Posse’s career by producing a new bumping, low brow version of “Leck Mich Im Arsch,” which they claim is based on a lost piece of music penned by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The title reportedly translates to “lick me in the arse,” but it’s all in the phonetics. As to whether or not the fellow Detrioter really helped the horror rappers' career is debatable. You just have to listen and decide for yourself.

The 7-inch single and digital download is part of Third Man new Blues Series. But not blues as you’d imagine it. You can order a limited edition version of the vinyl single at Third Man Records, or one of the 100 copies of the tri-color versions available from The Third Man Record Store at the MI Fest that’s taking place in Brooklyn, Michigan on September 17.

But don’t despair, if you can’t make it to the Fest—which will include White’s Raconteurs, the Romantics, Mitch Ryder, Sheryl Crow, and Mark Farner formerly of Grand Funk Railroad on the bill—you can still get a copy. White and his minions will be randomly shipping 50 of the tri-color versions with mail orders from the label.
