Kiss and Don't Tell: Justin Bieber, Scott Ian, Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed

By , Contributor

For the second time since February, the Twitterverse is aflutter with reports that Justin Bieber has been killed. Early this morning Twitter user @psich13 hyperventilated: "I just heard on channel 9 news that, while on the way to his limo, an outraged assistant drew a gun, and shot him in the heart." Before things turned into a firestorm, the always fan-friendly Bieber squelched the news by re-tweeting the rumor to prove he walked among us. "IM [sic] DEAD!!?!? again!?!?"

The last time rumors surfaced was in February when Bieber appeared on hit TV show CSI to reprise his role as troubled teen Jason McCann in an episode called "A Target of Obsession," where he was shot dead in a scene that horrified fans. Apparently it still does.

Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian and his wife Pearl Aday - daughter of rock legend Meat Loaf - welcomed their first child three weeks early. Named Revel Young Ian, he was a healthy 6 pounds 9 ounces. Despite his early arrival, Daddy Dearest will still have to take maternity leave and miss several of his band's shows - including some on the Big 4 tour with Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax. During his leave, Sepultura guitarist Andreas Kisser will fill in for Ian until mid-July. As for Grandpa Loaf? He's over the moon.

While Shannon Tweed has vacated the Beverly Hills abode she shares with longtime unmarried partner Gene Simmons on the season six premiere of A & E's Gene Simmons' Family Jewels, comes the news that the couple's longtime liaison isn't in as much jeopardy as they'd like you to think. This week, the larger than life twosome were dining a deux in one of Los Angeles' finer diners, then last week she accompanied him to Winnipeg when he received the key to the city. Here's a report from one attendee from Simmons "Rich & Famous" tour staged in that city:

"Yours truly spotted Simmons' six-foot-tall hockey-loving Newfie partner Shannon Tweed trying her best to sneak in late with city film honcho Kenny Boyce. He'd been with the couple earlier when Simmons got the keys to the City of Winnipeg."
