Coming September 15: Peanuts: Emmy Honored Collection

Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the entire Peanuts gang have been the subject of many beloved animated specials since the 1960s. On September 15, 2015, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will issue a two-disc DVD collection containing 11 favorite Peanuts specials. The thematic link? Each of these 11 specials either received or won an Emmy® Award.

Warner Bros. has announced that all of these specials “have been brilliantly remastered in all-new 4K Ultra HD transfers” (too bad no Blu-ray release planned at this time!). The Peanuts: Emmy® Honored Collection will retail for $26.99 SRP.

“Peanuts: Emmy® Honored Collection offers fans the opportunity to own several outstanding Peanuts specials, including childhood favorites to share with a new generation,” said Mary Ellen Thomas, Vice President Family & Animation Marketing, in Warner Bros. official press materials. She also stated, “We’re delighted to release this wonderful collection. This is a must-own title for any Peanuts fan.”
