Paramount Digital Entertainment has sent out a Tune-In Alert for it’s new alternative courtroom comedy series, Beef. The show will be available on video-on-demand platforms in the US and Canada and on iTunes, Vudu and other Digital HD streaming services from November 11.

Beef stars Law & Order: SVU’s Chris Meloni as Lou the Butcher. Lou owns a neighborhood butcher’s shop and is well known to local residents. Described as "combining the wisdom of Samson with the eloquence of Yogi Berra," he is renowned for solving all kinds of problems for his shop’s customers. According to the press notice, "Nothing can't be smoothed over with a handshake, a choice cut of Grade-A meat, and Lou's signature line: 'Are we done? We're done. Well done'."

Alongside Meloni, Beef will also feature appearances by Michael Ian Black, Joe Lo Truglio, Michael Cera and Lizzy Caplan. It was created by Michael Ian Black (Stella, Michael & Michael Have Issues), Joe Lo Truglio (Superbad, Reno 911!) and Jonathan Stern (Childrens Hospital, Burning Love).
