German Boy Calls Police Over "Forced Labor" Chores

By , Columnist
An 11-year-old German boy called the emergency police line is his hometown of Aachen complaining of what he felt was “forced labor.” The child, whose mother asked him to help clean their home during school holidays, told police “I have to work all day long. I haven’t any free time.”

The boy’s mother interrupted the phone call and explained to the officer that her son has repeatedly threatened to call the police due to being continually forced to “clean the home and terrace.”

She explained that her son’s breaking point occurred after she asked him to pick up paper from the floor, adding: "He plays all day long and when told to tidy up what he's done, he calls it forced labor."

Kids. Too cute to stay angry with, too lazy to sell for a profit.
