As if the $120 million she reportedly made for her Skinnygirl cocktail brand wasn’t enough (and the cleanses, and the fitness DVDs, and the website... ), margarita maven and Real Housewives of New York City alum Bethenny Frankel just inked herself a pretty big book deal with Touchstone Fireside publishing.
Already the author of a few best-selling cookbooks and self-help publications, this time, Bethenny’s delving into new territory with a fiction series.
Skinny Dipping (of course!) is the first of three books, which, as Frankel describes to USA Today, are about “a girl’s journey and what she wants, and trying to have it all. It’s about the lessons and the people along the way, about naysayers and rising above.”
Sound familiar? Yeah, we thought so too.
And in case you’re wondering if there’ll be any nods to her former Real Housewives of New York City castmates, from Bethenny’s promise of “juiciness and people wondering what it’s based on,” we’re thinking Jill Zarin and her PR team better be ready for some serious damage control.
Skinny Dipping is due in stores next spring.
