Vanity Fair/Mario Testino
Interesting that William and Catherine are appearing on the front cover of Vanity Fair, the Bible of celebrity, this month. The picture adorning the glossy is an unused print from the session a few days after the engagement where Diana's favourite photographer Mario Testino snapped the couple.
As Clarence House had ultimate say where the photographs could be used, the choice of an American celebrity magazine rather gives the lie to the fact that Catherine and William want to lead as normal a life as possible.
The couple, who will be visiting Los Angeles and California for three days in July, (as exclusively revealed by the Morton Report) are behaving like every other Hollywood star with a film to promote - they appear on the cover of Vanity Fair. This time though they have a royal tour to sell, William as President of BAFTA, expected to host a star-studded dinner in Hollywood to raise funds for film charities.
